The Hayes Dual Level Roll forming Line is designed to obtain better utilisation of both machinery and floor space.
Incorporating two complete sets of dedicated chrome finish tooling within the same frame.
Both upper and lower levels of tooling are fixed position and a change from one to the other is extremely quick and requires no major tooling adjustments.
The forming unit incorporates an “in-line” post-cut hydraulic shear fitted with dedicated blades for both profiles. 'In line' shear level is controlled automatically with selection of the tooling level.
Each set of tooling has a dedicated electric drive motor with variable speed control, which permits smooth transition from high to low speed for accurate stop to cut operation. The required profile is selected with a 'level' selector on the operator console.
