A dedicated heavy duty hydraulic bridge-type press is mounted on the roll former prior to the shear.
Stepped tile is available on both single level & dual level Hayes roll formers.
The tile effect is pressed with a dieset matching the profile which steps the profile downward with a fixed offset on every feed of the rollformer.
The feed distance is variable in software as is the overall sheet length and start point.
Tile or regular product is selectable at the operator console, in the non-tile mode the press and dieset is held fully open.
The dieset tooling is hardened and polished toolsteel.
