Wayne Kennedy - Sales & Marketing Manager NZ


Wayne Kennedy worked in the civil and mechanical construction field from the early 1970s filling various roles in project and engineering management, before joining Hayes in 1987. After five years, Wayne spent two years in Papua New Guinea, as factory manager for a metal building, plumbing and construction company who were a major customer of Hayes with a full complement of Hayes machinery.

This was followed by five years in the marine engineering industry in Nelson. Wayne returned to Hayes in 1998 to join the Sales team. Wayne’s range of direct industry experience means he fully understands the range of applications and ideas that go with any machine. This makes for very effective selling.

Steve Cannon - NZ Sales


Steve Cannon has always worked in engineering. He joined the assembly shop at Hayes in 1987, moving on to become shop foreman.

Steve then moved into the Service Department, was Service Manager for five years and then switched to International Sales.
