Mike Lowe - Managing Director

Mike Lowe has worked in the rollforming industry since before he graduated university with an engineering degree. He worked for a large rollforming company in Australia for 12 years, ending up as company Product Development and Engineering Manager, overseeing 23 sites.

In 1992 the then owner of Hayes International, Tom Hayes, offered Mike the General Manager’s position in the Rotorua Head Office. Mike Lowe has since helped reinforce the Hayes team as leaders in the rollforming industry.

Some 75 per cent of Hayes’ sales are repeat customers.

Ian Ball – Group Accountant


Ian joined Hayes in July 2010 and is responsible for running the Finance department.

Ian comes to Hayes after 21 Years with large international Packaging Company, where he held roles including Plant Accounting Manager and Head Office Accounting Manager roles.

Nick Looijen - Production Manager


Nick has been with Hayes since 1990 and started in the machine shop as a qualified Fitter turner. After 10 years including several years building and installing Hayes Equipment Nick took on the role of Customer Service Manager which he held for over 10 years, before moving into his current position of Production Manager overseeing the day to day operations of our workshop.
